How to Season a New Humidor
A new humidor's Spanish cedar is dry and will pull moisture from your cigars unless you season it first.
The pouch method (recommended)
Place a 69% or 72% two-way humidity pouch inside a sealed empty humidor for 10–14 days. It's slow but foolproof and won't over-humidify.
Check with a calibrated hygrometer
Once the reading holds steady near your target for 24 hours, the humidor is ready for cigars.
